Violin, Viola, Suzuki violin, Suzuki viola
Sherri received her B.M. in viola performance from the New England Conservatory of Music while studying with James Dunham, the violist of the award winning Cleveland Quartet. She then went on to receive her M.M., also in viola performance, from Baylor University while studying with violist Kathryn Steely. In addition, she spent three summers at the Aspen Music Festival where she studied with Heidi Castleman. Sherri has taught privately, coached chamber music, and led classes throughout Texas including teaching for the Youth Orchestras of San Antonio and Baylor University. She has also played in orchestras in Waco, San Antonio, Key West, Boston, and Rochester. Sherri has received Registered Suzuki Training.
